If hair is visible on the skin's surface, the laser energy will only burn the exposed hair rather than penetrating deep enough to target the follicle. This can prevent the treatment from being fully effective.

Here’s what to expect after your laser session: Days 1-3: You may notice mild itching and redness—this is completely normal! It happens as heat remains trapped under the skin. Apply your laser gel morning and night to soothe any irritation. Days 4-7: You'll notice hair starting to "grow," but don’t worry—this is just dead hair working its way out of the skin. Days 7-14: Your hair will begin to shed. Use your exfoliating cream and mitt in the shower to help remove these hairs and prevent ingrowns. Week 4: You’ll see some hair starting to grow back—this is your signal that it’s time for your next session!

Treatments are typically scheduled every 4 weeks for about a year, totaling 12 sessions. However, this timeline may vary depending on underlying hormonal conditions like PCOS or endometriosis. If you're taking any growth supplements, additional sessions may also be necessary.

1. Ensure you’ve had no sun exposure, solarium sessions, or antibiotics within the past two weeks. 2. Remove any fake tan from your skin entirely before your appointment. 3. Shave the day prior to your session for the best results.

Swelling and itchiness are normal after laser hair removal, a common response known as follicular swelling. The trapped heat beneath the skin cuts off the blood supply to the hair, contributing to the swelling. Redness, swelling, and itching may persist for 1-2 days.
